"Real Housewives of Atlanta" star Kandi Burruss' ex-fiance AJ Jewell's funeral will be held on Friday, October 9, 2009, at the Ray of Hope Christian Church in Decatur, Georgia.

A.J, 34, 'died of massive head injuries at Piedmont Hospital' after being 'fatally injured in a 'one-on-one' fight with Fredrick Richardson' after a noisy quarrel in the parking lot of a strip club, The Body Tap Club in Atlanta, where he had bought its majority of shares. He was pronounced dead few hours after he was taken to the hospital, authorities said.

The two men had an on-going dispute about business matters concerning the club, investigators said. Richardson worked at the club and A.J was reportedly attempting to buy part or all of the establishment.

Richardson has been charged with voluntary manslaughter and will go to jail after being released from the hospital. Richardson's attorney claims Jewell drew a gun and threw the first punch during the fight Friday night outside the Body Tap strip club. The attorney also argued that since Jewell's death has yet to be determined it would be premature to charge his client with voluntary manslaughter. A police spokesperson said detectives are 'trying to figure out [what happened]. We had a pretty good number of witnesses that are being cooperative.' Jewell threw the first punch, the eye-witnesses said.

Meanwhile, Kandi Burruss expressed her grief and said that her ex-fiance AJ Jewell believed in God and always tried to do the right thing. She is devastated as she is also mourning the death of her uncle,

Kandi and AJ broke up few weeks ago in September.
